Highsteppin’ artist Ghosts of Jupiter have been announced as part of the field of 24 bands in the 2012 Rock N Roll Rumble!
In it’s 33rd year, the Rumble is the world series of Boston rock, boasting “24 bands. 9 nights. 1 crown.” Preliminaries begin on Sunday, April 1st and run 6 nights, followed by semi-finals on Thursday April 12-13; Finals take place on Friday April 20th. All gigs take place at TT the Bear’s Place in Cambridge, MA. You can catch Ghosts of Jupiter during the preliminary round of the Rumble on Tuesday 4/3 at 10:30PM.

We’re pleased to announce that Highsteppin’ artist Bonerama will be featured in the new season of HBO’s hit series, Treme. In case you haven’t seen the show, the setting of the show is about three months after Hurricane Katrina where the residents of New Orleans, including musicians, chefs, Mardi Gras Indians, and ordinary New Orleanians try to rebuild their lives, their homes and their unique culture in the aftermath of the 2005 hurricane.
Tune in for the season premier on Sunday, 4/24 and keep an eye out for Antoine Batiste (played by Wendell Pierce) wielding his trombone alongside Bonerama at Tipitina’s French Quarter in New Orleans.
